Chuck Koswolski was a former player and coach in the League, he was drafted out of UCLA by the New York Nightmare as he is the all-time leader in sacks(1,000 sacks) he retired when he got his 5th head injury. In 1983 he became the head coach for the Chicago Marauders after the death ofLarry Simms, in his first season he finished with a 2-13 record, lowest record since 1977. After missing out on John Preston, the team had troubles on offense which made him call the owner a "spineless bastard" he was fired in 1987. In 1990, he became defensive coordinator at Michigan, and 1993 and 1994 became head coach of Michigan and led them to 2 straight bowl victories after signing a 4-year deal with the Seattle Reign to be the defensive coordinator. He built the championship defense that forced 6 turnovers(most in league championship history). In 2000 he became the owner of the New England Regulars. He later passed away in the boston hospital after suffering a stroke in the regulars headquarters.
